Vespas have been roaming streets around the world for more than 70 years, and there’s hardly a more recognizable name when it comes to step-through two-wheelers. Indeed, more than 18 million have been sold in that time, but each and every one of them has been driven by gasoline engines that pump out pollution and noise.

With its patented kinetic energy recovery system (KERS), these scooters are proved to be technologically advanced e-scooters in the market. In simple words, KERS is nothing but, the scooters kinetic energy ( energy created when you are riding the scooter) is stored in batteries and is used later. This, in turn, makes the scooter more energy efficient.
It is the best when rode on city streets. I just happen to fall for their unique design, the intensity they bring are for a clear statement on the road. That is exactly what creativity does when combined with top notch engineering.

Mopeds and electric scooters are intended for limited operation on public roads in Illinois. If you are planning to ride your electric scooter on the state’s public roads, the state law requires you to hold a valid driver’s license and abide by all road signs and traffic laws. Registration and titling are required to operate your motorized or electric scooter on Illinois roadways. Registration may be done in person, online or mail at your local Secretary of State (SOS) office.
In addition to the permit dispute, the city has raised concerns about safety. California law requires riders of motorized scooters to be at least 16 years old, to be licensed drivers, to wear helmets and to not ride on sidewalks.
The experience was delightfully transgressive — no reservations, no red tape, nobody telling me where I could leave the thing once I was done. All I had to do was agree to follow the rules (be over 18, have a driver’s license, wear a helmet, stay off the sidewalk). And of course, have a valid credit card. For $1, plus 15 cents per minute, I could go as far as the electric charge would take me, up to 15 miles, at a top speed of 15 mph.
To access the tire, you have to remove the rear tire assembly. Just try to follow those directions which are completely impossible. I had to take the 1st tire to Discount Tire and they needed to use an impact driver to remove the nuts on the rear wheel just to gain access to the inner tube. After removing 3 nuts, the impact driver needed to be charged. Unbelievable!! The amount of time and effort just to get air into the rear inner tube. So, once it was all put together, it didn’t work. So, I ordered an entire new rear wheel. That has worked for about 5-6 months. However, now I am again in the same situation. I had to remove the new rear wheel to access the inner tube and I am again unable to unscrew the wheel to get access to the inner tube.

Bernd started with a single pack made from the very large Headway cylinders. He liked the safe chemistry and the high current capability, but…he found the range disappointing. Their large size (38mm diameter, 140mm long), limited how many could be fit inside the frame space.

So first-up let me tell you that this Swagtron Swagger is almost identical to the Scuderia Ferrari electric scooter feature in this Top 15 Comparison table, but for less than one third of the price! You get the same beautiful slimline styling and super-lightweight carbon-fiber construction as the Ferrari. The Swagtron Swagger even has the nice aluminum rear mag-wheel that I like so much. If you can possibly stand to not have the Ferrari approval of you electric scooter but like everything else, then this scooter is your best choice.
The major reason that will stop most people buying the UberScoot 1000w over the Razor E300s is the price. Being a 1000w scooter it is not street legal. All street legal electric scooters need to have a motor at 750w or below.
