VanderZanden has experience with tech companies whose boundary pushing results in litigation. He is a former chief operating officer and early angel investor at Lyft whose defection to Uber in 2014 resulted in an ugly lawsuit that was settled confidentially in 2016.
It’s not actually that comfortable to ride. 5’11” is probably on the big side for the scooter, but you really are cramped and hunched over and ridulous-looking on it. But it gets me from A to B via my plane and completes the mission, which is all that matters.
With a larger deck, frame and tires for teens and adult riders, the E300 is one of Razor’s fastest electric scooters, traveling up to 15 miles-per-hour. Twist the throttle and feel the thrill of electric power. The E300 also has extra wide tires for superior comfort.
Lots of Memories!!I’ve owned this for a couple of months now. I use it in the evenings to go to our local grocery store to buy a couple of items with my 3 kids each of them who join me with their own scooters or crazy carts. Helps us bond together during our family time!! So glad I bought one for myself!! Thanks Razor for all the amazing products you bring out to the market. My kids love your brand. We all are looking forward to buying the Turbo jetts next!
” Electric Bicycle I purchased from you guys has been outstanding. I have had it now for almost 1 year and I use it everyday to commute to work 2 miles from my home. Everyone at the office always comments on how great of a idea I had. I also bought one for my 2 son’s and one for my wife. Electric Bicycle folds up easily for transportation in my car so I can take it with me everywhere I go. ”
In addition to the permit dispute, the city has concerns about safety. California law requires riders of motorized scooters to be at least 16 years old, to be licensed drivers, to wear helmets and to not ride on sidewalks.
Although I very much consider the E300S to be a child’s or teen electric scooter, it is one of the better made ones and will last for a very long time. It doesn’t have the power, battery run-time or range of it’s more modern counterparts on this Top 15 comparison table but it’s still a worthy contender because kids love it and it’s a tried and tested model. Give your teen kids a great introduction to the world of electric scootering. If you want a model for younger kids then look a the Razor E100 instead
The specific Speedway Mini Pro 4 we’re looking at here has a massive 748Wh battery onboard, which provides a range of at least 45 kilometers and as much as 54. If you pay extra for the fast charger you can have a full battery in only three hours. It’s also got a very decent load capacity at 120 KG.
In the user manual, it is mentioned to charge it for 12 hours before first use and the maximum charge time should not be beyond 24 hours. However, charging time should not be an issue if you plug in the scooter after each use.
Electric motorcycles and scooters suffer considerable disadvantage in range, since batteries cannot store as much energy as a tank of gas.[64] Anything over 130 miles (210 km) on a single charge is considered an exceptionally long range.[65] As a result, while electric machines excel as daily commuters traveling a fixed distance round trip, on the open road riders experience inhibiting range anxiety.[66] Also electric power trades off range against speed. For instance the current longest range electric scooter, the ZEV 10 LRC, travels 220 km (140 mi) at 89 km/h (55 mph), but according to the manufacturer the range drops to about 129 km (80 mi) at 112 km/h (70 mph).[67] A BBC news blog reported that an Austrian bike, the Johammer J1, is capable of travelling 200 km (124 miles) on a single charge.[68]
Exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’m glad I stumbled to this post. They all look good. I’m going to trust your judgement here and go for Razor Eco-Smart Metro Electric Scooter. I just hope it works as described. Thanks for the review.
Design: The design of the electric scooter you are about to buy is very important. When it comes to design, you need to find a foldable scooter that allows for easy storage. Besides this, you can also check the handlebars. The foldable handlebars are the best for easy maneuverability.

After a few days of riding, I got good—and a little cocky. I’d weave through pedestrians, and ride gleefully in the bike lane and among the cars. (Don’t worry, I hate me, too.) I’d charge through lights about to turn red, all the while making vroom-vroom sounds in my head. Then one rainy day, I made a sharp right turn, and my back wheel didn’t come with me. One nastily scraped knee later, I ride a lot more carefully.

With the need to lower the consumption of fossil fuels comes the rise of the electric scooters. And it is very easy to imagine electric scooters as the future of the urban transportation. Here are some of the advantages:
Florida statutes point out the difference between motorized scooters, motor scooters, mopeds, and motorized bicycles. According to Laws of Florida “motor vehicle” is “any self-propelled vehicle not operated upon rails or guideway, but not including any bicycle, motorized scooter, electric personal assistive mobility device, or moped.”
Moped is “any vehicle with pedals to permit propulsion by human power, having a seat or saddle for the use of the rider and designed to travel on not more than three wheels; with a motor rated not in excess of 2 brake horsepower and not capable of propelling the vehicle at a speed greater than 30 mph on level ground; and with a power-drive system that functions directly or automatically without clutching or shifting gears by the operator after the drive system is engaged.” These vehicles can be operated on the roadways, no title is required, but registration is. However, if the top speed is limited to 20 mph even if it looks like a moped, it can be classified as electric bikes and thereby avoid the registration requirements for mopeds (e.g. Gigabyke Groove fits this category).
Yes, electric scooters are here to stay and why not? They are fun, eco-friendly and easy to ride. They are a great alternative to a car and a convenient, cost effective, clean way of personal transport. It’s no wonder there are more and more e scooter enthusiasts every day. You’ve seen them zooming past wondering pedestrians, or swerving through bustling city streets. Love them or hate them, but they get to where they need to be fast and easy, while other people spend hours in their cars, stuck in traffic.
This Uberscoot will go up and down most hills with ease, which can be a challenge for less powerful scooters. Uberscoot are lovingly manufactured to extememely high quality in their South African factory by Evo Powerboards. They are distributed around the world and shipped directly from the USA.
Electric scooters may be operated on a trail, bicycle path, or bikeway; however, if the governing body of a local agency or local authority has jurisdiction over a trail, path, or bikeway, these governing bodies may prohibit the operation of an electric scooter by ordinance. You are not allowed to operate an e-scooter on the sidewalk. The driver must be at least 16 years old and must wear properly fitted bicycle helmet meeting regulated safety standards.
